New Book by Kenosia CEO, Ron Bienvenu, Explores the Next Phase in the Evolution of Business
Framingham, MA – October 8, 2009 – Attendees
at Kenosia
Corporation’s
2009 DataAlchemy
Demand Analytics Conference received a welcome surprise as
part of their conference gift bags – a prerelease copy
of CEO Ron Bienvenu’s new book, The Fourth Shock. Bienvenu’s
book explores how mobility brings with it the opportunity to
both interact with consumers and capture demand data in real
time. These real-time interactions will change the historically
reactive supply chain into a pro-active one. By leveraging this
information, companies will be able to interact with consumers
and pro-actively influence purchasing choices to squeeze the
most profit from all parts of the supply chain.
Kenosia CEO, Ron Bienvenu, took the stage for his welcome address
and spoke about the topics in his book, outlining where the industry
is going and ways for CPG businesses to be at the forefront of
the changes yet to come. Other speakers at the conference included
Alfred A. Kuehn, Chairman and Founder of Management
Science Associates Inc ; Dennis Thompson, Director of Enterprise
Information at Acosta ;
Michael Havens, President of Havens
Associates , and C. Enrique Ortiz, a leading blogger, technologist
and writer at About
Mobility .
One of the most important announcements of the conference has
definitely been the launch of the new company brand and image.
As Kenosia creates new goals and objectives, the new vision is
backed by a new name – alqemyiQ .
The vision of alqemyiQ is
to lead CPG firms into the future with advent of real-time data
analytics driven by the explosive growth of mobility and the
prospect of interacting with consumers at the point of purchase
instantaneously. Only innovative technology will enable CPG companies
to stay competitive in this dynamic market.. The company also
changed their pricing structure from a per seat perpetual licensing
model to an an enterprise pricing model in order to extend its
value throughout an organization. Bienvenu has initiated incredible
improvements throughout Kenosia in his short time as CEO, investing
heavily in research and development during a time when many companies
are reducing their investments in technology advances which is – a
testament to his capabilities as a leader and forward thinking
attitude towards the software industry. After reading the book,
it becomes obvious that Bienvenu’s points are valid and
well thought out peeks into the future of demand data and business
as we know it. Readers will also appreciate his capability of
making demand data seem accessible and understandable to most
anyone.
Conference attendees were given gift bags with a prerelease
