Demand Analytics Conference Will Address Growing Data Sources and Shed New Light on Technological Initiatives

Framingham, MA – August 31, 2009 – Dennis Thompson, Director of Enterprise Information at Acosta , will speak at Kenosia Corporation ’s 2009 DataAlchemy Demand Analytics Conference taking place October 7 th and 8 th in New Orleans, Louisiana. About Dennis Thompson – Director of Enterprise Information, Acosta

Dennis Thompson joined Acosta first as an independent consultant in November 2004 where he built Acosta’s enterprise data warehouse to consolidate information for their retail business channel. He joined Acosta full time in October of 2005 as Data Warehouse Architect and then in 2006 was promoted to Director of Enterprise Information. In his current position, he leads the enterprise data warehouse team and the web application development team. Dennis and his group architected iQubed, an enterprise reporting portal that provides information critical to the business decision process for 3,000 Acosta associates and 500 clients. In addition, his web application team develops custom applications that manage master data, client contracts, employee on boarding processes and recognition programs.

Prior to Acosta, Dennis served as an independent consultant on various data warehouse and web application development projects for several companies such as SunTrust Bank, P&G, and JM Family Southeast Toyota Distributor. His first exposure to the grocery business was in 1997 where he worked in various positions in his family’s military food distribution business in Jacksonville, Florida.
