alqemyiQ™, is introducing a new section to the newsletter, "Ask aiQ". This section will offer useful tips related to the software. This edition's question is related to segmentation data and the use of the Data Import Wizard.
Q: I have segmentation data in an Access database. Is there an easy way to import this data into DataAlchemy?
A: Yes, there is now an easy way to import data into DataAlchemy from Access by using the Data Import Wizard (DIW). The DIW can be used when creating or updating a DataAlchemy data source by selecting "Custom->Data Import Wizard" under "Import Source" in the New or Update Data Source Wizards. The DIW interface will allow you to:
* select which table to import from your Access data base
* select which fields to import and what DataAlchemy structures they should match to
* save your configuration for future use
Be sure to attend the February 2nd webinar for more information regarding the Data Import Wizard.
